Shipping and Receiving

Welcome to Mitchell’s Nursery & Greenhouse’s Shipping and Receiving page. To ensure a smooth and safe delivery process, please follow the instructions below when shipping items to or receiving deliveries at our facility.

Before You Arrive

• Documentation:
  Ensure that you have all required paperwork, including the delivery reference or purchase order number and any necessary permits.
• Delivery Type:
  Please indicate whether your delivery is a scheduled delivery or a special order.
• Contact Information:
  Have your name, company name, and phone number ready. This information will help our team coordinate your arrival efficiently.

Delivery Type & Location

Please tell us what you are delivering and how it is packaged, so we can instruct whether your delivery is intended for:

• The Retail Nursery:
  Deliveries for the retail location should check in at the office.
• The Growing Nursery:
  If you’re delivering to the growing nursery, please note to call us when you are 10 minutes out so we can meet you there.

Directions to Our Facility

For a hassle‐free arrival, please follow the directions corresponding to your point of origin:

From the North

• To the Growing Nursery (1217 W. Dalton Rd):
1. Take Hwy 52 South.
2. Exit at 129 (Pinnacle).
3. Turn left on Perch Rd and proceed to the stop sign.
4. Turn right on Old 52 (approximately 2.1 miles).
5. Turn right on Dalton Rd (approximately 1.2 miles).
   The nursery will be on the right at 1217 W. Dalton Rd.
   Note: You will need to get into the left lane to make the right turn.
6. Important: Call when you get off Hwy 52 so we can meet you.
• To the Retail Nursery (1088 W. Dalton Rd):
1. Take Hwy 52 South.
2. Exit at 129 (Pinnacle).
3. Turn left on Perch Rd and proceed to the stop sign.
4. Turn right on Old 52 (approximately 3.8 miles).
5. Turn right at the Thomas Railroad Crossing.
6. Turn right on W. Dalton Rd (approximately 0.2 miles).
   The nursery is on the right at 1088 W. Dalton Rd.
   Note: You will need to get into the left lane to make the driveway turn.
7. Pull straight in and stop at the office for unloading directions.

From the South

• To the Growing Nursery (1217 W. Dalton Rd):
1. Take Hwy 52 North.
2. Exit at 122 for Moore-RJR Drive.
3. Turn left onto Moore Rd (approximately 2.5 miles).
4. Turn left onto E King St/Old Hwy 52 North (approximately 2.0 miles).
5. Turn left onto Fulk St.
6. Turn right onto W. Dalton Rd (approximately 1.2 miles).
   The nursery is on the left at 1217 W. Dalton Rd (past the retail nursery).
7. Important: Call the office or Jay when you exit Hwy 52 so we can meet you.
• To the Retail Nursery (1088 W. Dalton Rd):
1. Take Hwy 52 North.
2. Exit at 122 for Moore-RJR Drive.
3. Turn left onto Moore Rd (approximately 2.5 miles).
4. Turn left onto E King St/Old Hwy 52 North (approximately 2.0 miles).
5. Turn left onto Fulk St.
6. Turn right onto W. Dalton Rd (approximately 1 mile).
   The nursery is on the right at 1088 W. Dalton Rd.
   Note: You will need to get into the left lane as you approach to make the right turn into our driveway.
7. Pull straight in and stop at the office for further instructions.

Unloading & Assistance

• Unloading Requirements:
  Please let us know what equipment will be needed to unload your delivery (e.g., forklift, pallet jack, manual unloading, or unloading onto golf cart/truck).
• Staff Coordination:
  Our team will be notified in advance to assist with unloading if needed. Please follow any additional instructions provided when you arrive.
