2 c. chopped chicken or turkey
1 med. onion
3 c. tomato- diced, fresh, frozen or canned
1 can of pinto beans
1 small head cabbage, chopped
2 c. chicken broth
1 green pepper, chopped
1 Tbsp chili powder
Salt and pepper to taste
1 tsp. hot sauce
Mix all ingredients and bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer for 30-45 minutes until tender. Serve with cornbread. Makes a tasty and simple meal. May substitute hamburger for chicken and use water instead of chicken broth.
